@TheRu551an I’m using the Kindle 3 with ads here in the Philippines and it works fine eventhough it is not officially sold here. Lastly, yes the Kindle reads PDF docs.

just got my kindle 4 from amazon.com & already love it. mind U, i was using my iPad with kindle app until now, but i can already C that this will B my main ereader unless i want 2 read N the dark or a dimly lit place. the feel is perfect 4 my hand & this thing weighs almost nothing. the side tabs are easy to use 4 page turning. Yes, there IS the getting used 2 using the controller 4 a keyboard, but all i need this 4 is JUST reading books anyway. I’ll use my iPad 4 anything else. 2 Thumb’s up!!!
@ultimatetoturial56 who would compare the two? I would get both. Ipad2 is horrible to read eBooks on.. your eyes would die. THe kindle is a pleasure to read on, because that’s all it does.

I chose Kindle 3 with keyboard over the 4th generation Amazon readers. Keyboard seems handier in this kind of device and screen won’t get stained as opposed to the one with touchscreen.
