Fort William Hotels: Choosing Your Hotel in Fort William

Fort William is the largest town to be found in the Scottish Highlands. It was originally formed around the village of Inverlochy and is found at the southern end of the Great Glen. It's on the shoreline of Loch Eil and Loch Linnhe and is very close to Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.

It is used as a base by thousands of people who climb Ben Nevis each year and this accounts for the wide range and diversity of places to stay in Fort William. 5. Lime Tree Small Hotel – Located on the outskirts of Fort William, this hotel is well worth considering as the base for your stay. As with almost everywhere locally, you will be treated to some truly spectacular views of Loch Linnhe and the surrounding mountains.
