A harsh, rugged mining town, Broken Hill is also home to some of the country's most prominent artists. It's earthy ochre and yellow colours will have you aghast with amazement. You will definitely want to visit Broken Hill with a campervan so you have the means to explore the inspirational countryside at length during your stay, without having to worry about making it back to town when the sun begins to set.
